We are looking for an English Teacher for a bilingual school based in Shanghai’s Huangpu district. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year starting in August 2026.About the schoolA bilingual school, which was founded five years ago, is situated in the middle of the Pudong and Huangpu district of Shanghai. It provides bilingual teaching to students from first grade to the 12th grade of elementary, middle and high school. The school follows the Chinese national curriculum and has elements from the British IGCSE and A levels curriculums to meet the academic needs of its students.Job responsibilitiesTeach the English subject to school secondary students aging from 11 to 18 years oldPreparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report commentsAssess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improveProvide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregiversAttend regular subject meetings at which curriculum planning, student progress, and teaching and learning needs are discussed and improvements can be sharedRequirementsDegree with English or related as the sole or major focusFormal teaching qualification.
